The Sorrows is a abstraction of grief, heartache, and sorrow. During a period of gloom and dejection, the concept of ‘The Sorrows’ arose. Novels have always been a manner of escapism from the world for me. Inspired by Goethe and the anguish portrayed from the book “The Sorrows of Young Wether,” the book illuminated feelings that resonated deeply with me. This dress was not only inspired by the author but was a form of my own novel in a way through the fabrication of heartache.
